Registration & Fees: FAQ



1. How many people from our organization can attend?

In order to achieve regional diversity, we recommend that no more than five representatives per organization attend the event. Organizations are strongly encouraged to strive for gender-balanced delegations.

. Do all participants need to register in advance?

Yes. All participants must register via the Making Global Goals Local Business – India online registration system, accessible only to those individuals who have received an invitation. Please be aware that emails and letters to the UN Global Compact will not be accepted as a substitute for online registration.

. How can I register for Making Global Goals Local Business – India?

Participation in this event is by invitation only. If you have received an invitation, please click on the registration link in the invitation letter to access our online registration system. Please fill in all required fields and submit payment (if required) for your registration. You will receive an automatic confirmation email once your registration is complete.

If you have not been invited and would like to attend, please submit an invitation request by clicking here.
Security passes and visa supporting letters to the event will only be issued to registered attendees.

All invitation requests are reviewed and responded to within seven business days. You will receive an official invitation letter via email if your request is approved. If you do not receive a response within seven business days, please email info.india@unglobalcompact.org.

. I registered for the Making Global Goals Local Business – India and received a confirmation email. Can I still modify my registration selections at a later date?

Yes. You may log back into your registration at any time before 3 April 2017 using the modification link provided in your confirmation email.

. I started, but did not complete, my registration. Can I log back in and complete it at a later date?

Yes. You can log back in using the registration link provided in your original invitation letter, or in the email reminder you will receive after leaving the registration site before completing your registration.

. Is there a registration fee for the event?

Yes, registration fees apply to all participants with the exception of: Government, Heads of United Nations Agencies, Funds and Programmes, and official event sponsors. Please refer to the participant criteria tab for further information.

. Is there an additional cost for the offsite learning excursion on the first day of the event (26 April)?

There is no additional cost. Please see the participant criteria tab for more information on the one-time registration fee. Registration for the offsite learning excursion will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you choose to participate in an excursion tour before or after the event, all expenses will be your own.

. Can a top executive bring their assistant?

Yes. Please contact info.india@unglobalcompact.org to request an invitation. Registration fees will apply to the assistant's registration. Please see further details on registration fees in the participant criteria.

. As an individual, can I participate in the event?

The Making Global Goals Local Business- India is by invitation only and is open to representatives from business, the investment community, foundations, the UN, civil society, Governments and academia. We regret that we are unable to accommodate individual requests. Please see further details outlining criteria for participation in the participant criteria.
