Business Ambition for 1.5°C: Our Only Future

22 January, 2020; 12:00-14:30

Recognizing the urgency of the climate crisis, businesses are stepping up more than ever before to work together with Governments, regions, cities and civil society towards a common goal — to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels in line with reaching net-zero emissions by mid-century. Uniting behind the science, over 180 companies have joined the “Business Ambition for 1.5°C: Our Only Future” campaign featured as part of the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit in September 2019.

Hosted by the UN Global Compact with support from SAP, the luncheon will offer a high-level platform to mobilize further momentum behind the campaign and to accelerate greater action in the lead up to COP 26.

This is the moment where we need bold business leaders to be climate activists in their own spheres of influence, raising their voices for greater impact and action as we enter into decade of action.
